This year's R'ADYS Mountain Marathon from 9 to 10 August 2008 was a complete success: over 300 outdoor sportsmen and sportswomen took up the challenge with map and compass, sleeping in the great outdoors. The two-day event was held amidst the breathtaking mountain scenery of Lenzerheide.
And yet again, victory in the longest and most difficult Category 1 went to the two Englishmen, Tim Higginbottom and Chris Near. This year, they have set themselves the target of winning all the races of this type taking place in Europe. And they are well on the way to achieving this. With the R'ADYS Mountain Marathon, they secured the third of five possible victories.
